SCE's Economic and Business Development team guides businesses towards their optimal potential by delivering the resources necessary to thrive in Southern California. We help companies find ways to make staying in Southern California economically viable, including strategies that can help lower operating costs and increase productivity.

Business Retention, Expansion and Attraction

E&BD's Regional Project Management team provides one-on-one assistance to large energy consumers (200 kW and greater, by delivering specialized Economic Development support such as site and location assistance, leveraging local economic development partners, and being a conduit to economic development service providers and in-house incentive programs such as:

• Permit and regulatory assistance

SCE's Interactive GIS Web-based Toolset and Industrial Building and Site Database

E&BD is collaborating with our economic development partners to market available, qualified buildings and sites through a GIS web-based toolset. Customers will be able to identify their target areas by locating certain demographics and business characteristics within the SCE region and combine it with the ability to locate available properties matching their site-selection requirements.
